PickupMyCash (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.


1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We collect the following information during account creation:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Profile photo (via camera or gallery)

  • Company or business details (if provided)

1.2 Consignment Information

When creating a consignment, we collect:

  • Sender and receiver name

  • Sender and receiver contact details

  • Pickup and drop-off locations

  • Consignment type (cash, gold, documents, valuables)

  • Bid/offer amount and delivery charge estimate

1.3 Location Information (Required for Core Functionality)

We collect location data only when the user is actively using the app, including:

  • User’s current live location for pickup

  • Location to calculate distance-based charges

  • Location to assign the nearest driver

  • Pickup location saved in consignment history

Important:

  • We do NOT collect location in the background.

  • We do NOT track users when the app is closed or inactive.

  • We do NOT share location data with any third party for advertising or marketing.

This complies with Google Location Permission Policy.

1.4 Camera & Gallery Access

We request camera and gallery permissions only for:

  • Taking a profile photo during signup

  • Selecting an existing profile photo from gallery

We do NOT:

  • Scan or collect other images

  • Access gallery without user interaction

  • Use camera in the background

This follows Google Play’s Photo/Video Permission policy.

1.5 Delivery Proof Images

Drivers upload:

  • Pickup proof photo

  • Delivery proof photo

These images help protect both the sender and receiver and ensure safe deliveries.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts

  • Verify user identity and prevent fake accounts

  • Auto-detect pickup location for accurate pickup

  • Assign the nearest available rider

  • Calculate delivery charges

  • Provide real-time order tracking

  • Show consignment history and map routes

  • Improve service quality through ratings & feedback

  • Communicate updates, confirmations, or support messages


3. Real-Time Tracking

To ensure transparency and safety:

  • Users see real-time driver status updates

  • Drivers’ location is shown only during an active order

  • Tracking automatically stops when the consignment is delivered


4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or marketing companies.

We only share minimal necessary data with:

  • Assigned driver (pickup/drop-off, sender/receiver info)

  • Legal authorities if required by law

All data sharing is strictly limited to completing the service.


5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encrypted data transmission

  • Secured servers

  • Role-based access control for admin and drivers

Although we take all reasonable precautions, no method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure.


6. User Rights

You may:

  • View your information

  • Update your profile details

  • Request deletion of your account

  • Request removal of your data (as allowed by law)

We respond to all privacy-related requests at info@pickupmycash.com.


7. Account Deletion

Users can easily request account deletion from within the app:

Home → Open Sidebar Menu → Delete Account → Fill Details → Submit

An email is automatically sent to the admin, and the account is permanently removed within 7–30 days.

Once deleted:

  • All profile data is erased

  • All consignments are anonymized or removed as required by law

  • Logout is automatic


8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under 18 years.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.


9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.
Changes take effect immediately once published in the app or on our website.
